The one that I'll cite here is that having a legit #1 D is pretty darn important.

Only being round 2 and already seeing my pick stolen one slot before me is a tough scene. I'll have to pivot in a different direction here.
Ted Lindsay is way too obvious a pick right now, and there are lots of reunited duos so far, so he's a natural choice on Gordie's wing. Then, I'd also like a Red Kelly substitute, so I'll go best defenceman available with King Clancy.

I’m a big fan of Clancy, he was on my short list back when I took Plante. He feels like a mini steal hereOnly being round 2 and already seeing my pick stolen one slot before me is a tough scene. I'll have to pivot in a different direction here.

Hull-Pilote needs some love too.
I'm secretly only here for book recommendations. If anyone here still hasn't read Clancy's book written with Brian McFarlane, I highly recommend doing so.

Didn't Clancy also have an autobiography? That book was crazy. If anyone here still hasn't read Clancy's book written with Brian McFarlane, I highly recommend doing so.

That’s a wild ride. He’s a tall tale teller seems like but there’s also interesting facts in there. That's the same book. It was written with Brian McFarlane in 1968. A different Clancy bio was written in the mid 80's by Anne Logan.
The Logan one isn't as good but mine is autographed by Clancy so it's one of my "special" ones.
