ATD2025 Draft Thread Part II (Regular Season Voting Results in post #619)

I haven't been around much, but glad to see that this is at least going to limp over the finish line. It really is unfortunate that all the momentum we had was effectively killed by the site outage.

I plan on voting tomorrow night or Thursday. Good luck all.

Didn't leave much room for error, but I got my votes in.

It's funny, during the entire draft, I thought about this multiple times throughout the day. I even made a goofy spreadsheet that I called my "war room". Then the board crash happens, and I realize I don't even have my special teams or captains posted on the boards when votes are due in however many weeks later. I haven't even opened my spreadsheet in about a month.

Either way, I do hope there's a good amount of activity during the playoffs. I essentially got my first taste of that last year, and well, I want more.

Speaking of playoffs, I'm probably just forgetting, but what is the playoff format this year? I assume each division winner gets a first round bye? Or is every fifth-placed finisher just not making playoffs?

Just got my votes in. It was a bit difficult. Like others have said, it's easy to feel a bit removed from the whole process right now. I hope I got it right for the most part.

Good luck all, I look forward to seeing the results. Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote. And to Theo of course for tallying.

I don't think anyone has since before the site crash. I hope he's alright.

From what I recall, he was locked out of his account completely for a few days during and right after the site outage. And then I believe many members had issues as the site reverted back an entire year when it came to passwords, account edits etc. So it's entirely possible he's just locked out of his account completely. Maybe he's unable to change his password and recover the account, or maybe he just doesn't think it's worth the bother lol. He has stated before that when he's all in he's ALL IN, but that he tends to lose interest from time to time as well.

I'd hate to see his time on the board end like that. If he's locked out, I'd really like to see him come back with a new account. We don't need to lose good members because of stupid technical crap.

Had we decided on a playoff format for this year?

Are we looking at the #1 seeds getting a bye, while #2 matches up against #5 and #3 takes on #4? That way everyone gets a playoff series.

Or are we going with #5 missing out, with #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3?

What does everyone prefer?
If we did the first option, that would get each division to 3 teams. If we want everyone to have a playoff series, we'd need to have #4 and #5 play each other, then do a standard playoff.
