It’s a holiday weekend here is the US with everyone having Monday off. Perhaps we should push it to Tuesday in order to accommodate those that may be traveling?

Man, there were a lot of really good teams this year and some very close matchups. Sometimes it's unfair to see teams bounced early but it's the way it goes with seeding. I had Savannah and Torpedo among the best teams in the entire draft and they didn't make it out of the divisional semis. I guess that speaks to the quality of the roster construction, overall, this year.

You are dead wrong.
4th seed defeats 1st seed.
The bottom seed defeating the top seed Ghost Pirates was the only upset.
1st seeds almost always get through the opening ATD playoff round.

This ATD is going to have to hobble across the finish line eventually, it's a shame interest died down so much.

It's wonderful we have had decades of always finishing drafting players with 20 to 48 GMs each time, with rare "quitting" - even then usually 'cuz of life crises - and always replacement GMs found and drafts always completed.
The playoffs discussion is usually a lot less, yet we get votes, and move on, especially since this sweet ATD winter hobby has its playoffs reach June, will finish in the summer.
The point of the draft is the draft itself.
After that, our only obligation is voting.
Discussion is a last chance to clarify things and introduce new info.
The ATD has never been about a survivor, vote-off exercise. It is about heralding and cheering players from hockey history. The draft threads (and co-GM chats) are the most fun part of discussion.
Vote, have a good summer and see you in ATD 2026 next winter!
(Plus perhaps one of the other history drafts we usually have in the fall season.)
