All the reports were after his college season ended he was going to turn pro. Probably will be signed this month or in May. Since we're not in the playoffs, no rush.

I think if the Kings were in the playoffs, he would have already...ala Makar. I hope this happens this week. Who knows?
I think Prokhorkin signing cannot come until after April 30th, for some rules...hope both sign.

This kid has exceeded expectations everywhere he's played. Was called the best defenseman in the USHL...goes on to make TEAM USA WJC and did good last year...goes on to win the NCAA Championship as a Freshman - and he was a big part of that as a Freshman. Then plays WJC again and named Captain, over several other 'bigger names' on Team USA. Had 5 pts at WJC and was on the ice every key situation - I watched all their televsised games...he was stellar. Poised, confident, great on D and Offense. Looked as good or better than ALL other defensemen in that tournament, which include Quinn Hughes, Evan Bouchard, Boqvist, etc. He turns 20 next month. It's not like he's 18 or 19. He should have a good Summer and come in strong. He's got more talent than the Roys, Walkers, Forborts...and talent right there with Clague. Mikey is better defensively than where Clague was, coming in. I bet one of them makes the team. If mikey goes to Ontario, it will only be for one season. Look for him to once again exceed expectations. Great day for the Kings! Oh, and of course he just won the NCAA title again. Was stellar. Saw some of the tournament games.
