Why? Philly gets a ghost load of young cheap talent and removes 8.7 x 8 contract. Vangbets the top level winger albeit not really that young but locked in. Also get 2 propects back that are not quite as high level.

While I agree that the Flyers should never have signed Konecny to that massive contract (due to where they are in a rebuild)... that is terrible value for a 60-70 point player with grit, attitude, and character. Lekkerimaki is a nice prospect but nowhere near close enough. Lol @ the rest of the deal. If the Flyers were going to trade TK (they're not) they would shop him and get a way better return.

The Flyers aren't, or at least shouldn't be, interested in trading a dollar for five nickels. TK is the kind of piece the Flyers center a deal for EP40 around, not someone we offer for spare parts.

Why is Vancouver buying? With the Miller trade I'd think that at most they're retooling, so adding another big piece like Konecny, while a skilled player, probably doesn't fit our timeline all that well.

TK would cost a 1st, blue chip prospect and a B-level piece.
So, a 1st, Lekkerimaki or Willander and a decent third piece
