Lehky's cellies are awesome. He usually just hammers both hands down and that grinding roaring smile just matches the effort we see from him on the ice all the time. Almost never a casual celly.
A Lehkonen's a Lehkonen, but that 2nd round pick could've been anything. It could've even been a Lehkonen!
Ray Bourque. This has to be up there for most lopsided trades in Avs history.
Obviously the Patrick Roy trade takes the cake. I don't think the Rob Blake trade was as one sided as some believe since Deadmarsh gave the Kings some really good hockey until succumbing to injuries. The Devon Toews trade may be up there.
Lol.I still would have preferred getting Copp over Lehkonen, but I do like Leks a lot so far.
Can't forget that Aaron Miller gave the Kings 300+ games of solid defense as well. Blake was an incredible get, but we gave up a lot for him. This has to be up there for most lopsided trades in Avs history.

That 2024 2nd round pick ended up being used by LA Kings to pick a goalie, Carter George, at 57th overall.A Lehkonen's a Lehkonen, but that 2nd round pick could've been anything. It could've even been a Lehkonen!
Which was a stretch. Most people had Taro Tsujimoto at 57.That 2024 2nd round pick ended up being used by LA Kings to pick a goalie, Carter George, at 57th overall.

YES!!!!!!! Sakic you beautiful man. I LOVE this trade. High price for sure but who cares, we're gonna win a cup.
I'll post an encyclopedia of analytics once this site recovers from Montreal fans crashing the boards lol
What about this one? Great list of prospectsEvery time I see this thread bumped I remember this post.
This trade makes total sense given the makeup of the Avs forward prospects, the vast majority of which (except Bowers) are offensively-leaning and not that good defensively.
