The best UFA the Rangers ever signed is now someone I want to see gone, like yesterday.
f*** this guy.
f*** this guy.
I like the way you think. Is it possible the team leaks this with the PR intention of getting rid of him and not having public backlash for doing so? It may make them look bad, but not as bad as potentially keeping him? Probably more convoluted than what is actually going on, but you never know.
There’s no incentive for the front office to leak this. The organization covered it up with settlement money, why would they want it out there? Is it possible the team leaks this with the PR intention of getting rid of him and not having public backlash for doing so? Now Panarin will be basically forced to waive his NMC though, before this he probably was never going to.There’s no incentive for the front office to leak this. The organization covered it up with settlement money, why would they want it out there?
And irregardless, he still controls whether he gets traded or not.
Very true, which is why I said the truth is probably less convoluted. Just throwing an idea out there. There’s no incentive for the front office to leak this. The organization covered it up with settlement money, why would they want it out there?

Don't forget the NHL is also complicit in this since the Rangers alerted them to this and their internal investigation.Pretty much you advocate to keep the player and then this shit comes out. Like on shirt off your back night too. WTF. The season that keeps giving and giving and never seems to f***ing end. One f***ing soap opera after the other and they're all f***ing grotesque.
FWIW I also don't think it's a good look for Dolan and Rangers upper management and Drury etc. to be keeping this quiet or even keeping it in their back pocket......like for a rainy day? They're not innocents either. Throwing this out in the public on the last day of the season is like a joke. Maybe when they first got wind of it?
Maybe the Perry situation in CHI?Are there comparables for this current situation?
Proof?Rangers and MSG paid her off...there's your proof.Pretty open and shut caseI do not like these type stories because none of us were there. I do not know what happened or did not happen. My natural inclination is to believe her but there have been even worse stories that turned out not to be true years later. I'm not saying this was not true but there is a possibility some things were true and others were not. The timing of it being reported was not great. Also Bread is a professional athlete. If he really wanted to pin a lady down wouldn't he be able to? I'm not absolving Bread. He was married and did do some stuff that he should not have done like inviting her to his room and taking her phone. He most likely made a physical pass at her as well. I just do not feel 100% comfortable finding him guilty of something more serious than that without any other proof.
I was thinking M. Donald Grant. This season has been so Wilpon Mets
Not really, honestly the closest in my mind is Pat Kane rape allegations that ended up seeming like a hoax. But he didn’t even take a leave of absence for that. This is a civil case where everyone has settled, NHL is aware and says the matter is closed, I would guess he plays tonightAre there comparables for this current situation?

Hahaha
Companies, organizations, people pay off accusers all the time even when they don't believe or flat out know the accusations are false. Sometimes it's worth some relatively nominal amount of money to prevent allegations from becoming public, because those allegations can be extremely damaging even if they're eventually disproven.Proof?Rangers and MSG paid her off...there's your proof.Pretty open and shut case
