Awesome he's here. Drury probably has good impressions of him from when they played together for parts of three seasons.
Why did he choose to stay here and not make more money in the KHL or Europe when he knows he's not going back to the NHL?
GOAT!!!
All of them had it in their eyes. Torts wanted to use it to get team refocused but even he looked like he was grinning on the inside seeing how silly and apologetic Artem looked and how ridiculous the whole situation was. That smirk Avery gave Ardy always gets me.
Not a terrible vet to have sitting in HFD in case of emergency.
Correct. He is on a PTO. But he would be signing for the league minimum if at allImportant to note that Anisimov cannot be called up as he is signed to an AHL contract.

It wouldn't surprise me if he is signed to a pro-rated 1-year league minimum deal and we see him at some point towards the end of the season, or in the playoffs.Correct. He is on a PTO. But he would be signing for the league minimum if at all
I know it's only two games but he has looked pretty mediocre in the AHL. Given that he's 35 and hasn't played in the NHL for 3 years I wouldn't rush to give him an NHL contract, even if it's for the minimum. They could find better options for a contract spot IMO.I would give him a league minimum 2-way contract

Oh for sure. Agree with all of this. Just find it better to have him down in Hartford period.I know it's only two games but he has looked pretty mediocre in the AHL.
