Tell you what, there isn't a day that goes by that I'm not glad we moved on from Ryan Hartman. That mess he pulled on the faceoff with Stutzle that got him kicked out of the game is probably one of the more dirty plays I've seen in a long time.

Ol' Headsnap is a piece of shit. Same fine organization that employed Matt Cooke well after he was well known to be a piece of shit on the ice.

I think we end up keeping schenn until next deadline. He isnt amazing but he is a competent 3rd pairing rhd and we dont have alot of those.

Nyquist should be gone asap
Lauzon as well.

Those are the two i really want to see moved at the moment. If someone offers something decent for schenn sure move him. We can have a 3rd pairing of Wilsby and Stastney. It would need to take on a different role either neither of them will be able to body people around.

Dallas got Granlund and Ceci for a 1st and 4th. Wonder if anyone wants NyQvist and Schenn
By a remarkable coincidence, after playing against that Dallas team the Jackets are temporarily down Marchenko and Fabbro.

There was already some interest among HFCBJers in Nyquist as is...

Sad if Fabbro is out for a long time. Hopefully he showed enough in his time with the BJ's that it won't hurt his next contract too much? He's a guy who deserves a good landing spot and some security.

That's what plenty of us are hoping for. That said, nearly all contract extension news we hear nowadays is about Olivier, mostly because the pundits are circling and salivating.

My guess is if you are Fabbro and the money isn't that great coming off of this season you just take a year or two getting what you can and hope you can get that number up for something more long term. I guess really though it comes down to whether he wants to try and maximize possible earnings or wants more security.
