EK65 out for the season with broken thumb.

Wouldn't it be something hilarious if we sent them Eakin's contract. Oh the irony that would be. They probably could use him, with all their injuries and the guys they might ship out at TDL, he's probably a top six forward for them.

FWIW, Canes have signed Ayres to licensing agreement. T-shirt available to order. And he's been invited to Carolina for Tuesday's game (and plan is for him to sound the siren to start the game).

Yucky night on the out of town scoreboard tonight.

Flames won
Canucks won
Jets got a point
Predators won
Wild won

At least the Coyotes lost
Now all we need for is the Oilers to lose as well.

Honestly, some part of me wants Vegas to finish in 2nd so they can stay in the Pacific division in round 1.

Santa Clara county, California, after two coronavirus deaths, has banned all mass gatherings of 1000+. Through the end of March.

This includes events at SAP Center. (Including 3 Sharks games, and one AHL San Jose Barracuda game.)

Sharks and NHL (and NHLPA) and their opponents will be determining course of action. Could play in empty arena. Could play in neutral site. Could play at opponent site. Could postpone and reschedule. Could cancel game.

Possibilities.

I still sort of want to finish 2nd in the division.

Want no part of the Wild, Jets or Preds in the 1st round.

Sharks (also Columbus Blue Jackets in similar situation) will play home games without fans. (Also the AHL San Jose Barracuda will play home games without fans)

Through games scheduled April 1 (Cuda).
