The Kings were the better team, but only by the slightest of margins. The series was a standstill and the Kings got the better bounces, not limited to, but including officiating. Rangers could have easily won.

Also, the number of minutes the Kings led for in the series isn't the staggering stat, it's the percentage of playing time. The Kings led for 18% of the playing time.
