Yeah, and I guess one would have said the same thing about Vancouver in 1994 (the last time a CF Game 7 went to OT). Vancouver was resting and the Rangers/Devils went into double OT in Game 7. We all know how that ended.

This means nothing. It's just nice to have these two teams play a bit more hockey before next round.

Well, to be fair, the Rangers only played 4 and 5 games in the first two rounds that year while Chicago played 6 twice and LA played 7 twice. And Chicago/LA have played a LOT of hockey the past year. Fatigue IS a factor.

Yeah. Of course, no Kings fan commented on it.

Guess that's why he's literally Jesus to them. Don't even realize when he makes a terrible play.

He was looking around like he had absolutely no idea what was going on, then Saad is just all alone in front.

Amazing awareness. GOAT player of all time AINEC.

Quick gas not been that good in these playoffs and he hasn't really needed to be since his team is scoring at a very high pace.

I haven't seen all the games so you maybe right but 6-0 must mean some timely saves. Can't be all luck.

Just one other thing to consider, if LA wins they also have to deal with an extra flight to Los Angeles on top of coming out of a 7 game series ending in OT. Chicago just go to sleep in their own beds

Kind of glad that only ever saw the '94 2OT after I already knew the result. Not sure my heart could take game 7 OT

Vanouver played 7 games against the Flames in the 1st round which was decided in double OT.

The Rangers played 16 games before advancing to the finals. Vancouver 17.

4 of those were from the Sharks series. Two of them were blowouts over the Sharks and Ducks in game 7s. He has indeed made timely saves but hell even Fleury made timely saves lol.

If I could exchange Gaborik for Nash at any time in the last 6 months, I would have vaulted a 90 year old woman to pull the switch
