They've been interviewing Lindy. Haven't heard anything of substance with the Rangers and Lindy. Oh no! :(

Well apparently it's not the coaches, must have been that they are retiring Modano's number. So your dream can live on.

Gotta say, not as bad as I thought logo looks much better on the jersey than by itself.
 
A little too Anaheim with the gigantic D on the front, but the aesthetics are fine. I wish Buffalo would bring back their old jersey.

This was posted in the Photoshop thread. Sequence leading up to Marchand's goal and Marchand chirping right after. It was awesome.
 
Net thing doesn't seem like too big of an issue to me. Goal opening doesn't change. Basically it's a way to add space behind the net a la Olympic sheets without having to remodel 30 rinks.

Visors on the other hand...I'm not a fan of. I knew it would happen sooner or later so I'm not surprised. But in my opinion that should be up to the player.
 
Don't dislike the Dallas sweaters as much as I thought I would. I think yellow/gold would have looked better than the silver. Pretty nondistinct overall.

The 90s are definitely gone at this point! Originality is waning. I normally consider myself a traditionalist so it's not the worst thing in the world, but it is interesting that teams are playing it pretty safe with overall design / striping. Another circle logo too (on the sleeves). That will be on the front of a black 3rd jersey in a year or two.

if you're going to give them a five minute major for fighting, at least let them fight.

edit: nevermind, minor penalties to each.
