A few weeks ago I was telling you guys that Bylsma is a bad coach.

*vote CaliDubiZib most underrated poster*

I wouldn't go that far. He isn't Mike Babcock. But he is pretty competent. Shero decided to front load his team. The pens have a lot of great forwards, but don't have a great defensive corps.

Now, a lot of times that never gets exposed because the pens can have the puck in the offensive zone for almost an entire game. When that doesn't happen, the flaws in the roster begin to show.

The Rangers didn't look this bad against the Bruins. The Bruins are just getting better and better as the playoffs move along.

Pens remind me of those Washington President's Trophy winners. Not built for the playoffs.

and we did it without Staal and injury riddled Callahan and Hagelin.

Heres my question. If the Pens go down in flames might Dan Bylsma become a candidate for our next coach? Two years of flops in the playoffs, the Pens might go a new direction. I would personally love it. The guy knows how to coach, imo. Its a shame he has no goaltending and questionable defense.

Yeah, suddenly I feel a little better about that effort. They weren't great, but at least they were in every game for the most part.

Lmao @ the pens.

Makes me feel a little better that we lost to the cup winner.

Bylsma is a big reason why the Pens have struggled thus far imo.

Iginla on LW and not on the 1st PP unit is insane. He refuses to break up Neal-Malkin-Iginla, which sucks. For some reason, Jokinen is in the lineup.

Please, god, no.

Go from a coach overachieving with a subpar roster to.... a coach who consistently underachieved with a stacked roster, and who was gifted his cup ring. No thanks.

...Also, ****. Don't let them back in Bruins. Come on with the last minute of the period goals. Can't let that **** happen.
