Personally, I am not impressed by HF's favorite Alex Pietrangelo.
AV favorite Shane O'Brien is on waivers.

RT @FriedgeHNIC: Shane O'Brien (CAL) and Mikael Samuelsson (DET) on waivers
Would be a big upgrade over Falk as the 7th dman... would add a lot of toughness on the defense..
Neither am I. For a consensus top 5 defenseman I've really never seen him play like one.
His best season was two years ago, and even then I didn't think he was like the elite of the elite.

Yeah, don't agree there.
Shane O'Brien is absolutely god awful.
If he can't even crack Colorado's top 7, he isn't as good as you think.
he would give something this team lacks. some physical play on the defense and he would only be a 7th dman. im just saying that AV likes him from his days on the Canucks, and Rangers did have interest in the past so im just throwing it out there...
Can anyone explain how the wild card works ? Thank you.
Can anyone explain how the wild card works ? Thank you.
Well garry bettman wanted to **** on the rivalries in the west and make our division about 100 times worse so yea thats the wild card
The wild card positions go to the two highest point getting teams in the conference, that aren't in the top three of their division.
Lol, I see but, how many teams will make the wild card ?
Two in each conference.
Here's fictional standings to give you an idea
Atlantic:
Team A-100
Team B-99
Team C-98
Team D-90
Team E-89
Team F-78
Team G-77
Team H-50
Metropolitan:
Team Q-99
Team R-98
Team S-95
Team T-91
Team U-89
Team V-86
Team W-85
Team X-40
In this case, the top three in each division make it by default.
The wild card spots would go to team T and team D, they have the highest points out of teams that missed the top three spots in their divisions. Both wildcard teams can come from the same division, too.
The Isles are beating STL. You can't make this **** up.
