For all the sign Reinhart long term talk; he didn't even sign long term in Florida right away. Dude was really smart with his career and got max money imo. Reinhart knew exactly what he was doing.

I think he would have signed here long term if we approached him with a long deal instead of a bridge. No guarantee he has the same production he has in Florida though.

It's possible I guess, I don't have any specific knowledge. But i'll note that he's an intelligent person who grew up in an NHL family. He wasn't in the position where he needed to sell his earnings short to guarantee security.

If someone wanted to maximize their career earnings they'd do exactly what he did.

I feel like the Canes play the exact same way, they just lack the star players that Florida has. And on top of that they have Rod the Bod as their coach making me dislike them.

I dislike both teams but I dislike the Canes more.

They said on the game today that Carolina has 13 straight Eastern Conference Finals losses? They've lost 3 straight ECF by sweeps and then lost tonight? Their last win was in 2006 against us in game 7, thats INSANE.
