Their team's entire legacy is built around a 6 team league where all the best players were snatched up by the two Canadian clubs with the rest being divided up by the four US teams.

Maybe if you're not around them as much you might feel bad. But they're obnoxious when they invade Key Bank Center twice a year.

I've found the KBC folks to be younger, drunker and more prone to smack talk. The older ones? The ones who lived through Ballard? Those folks are far less abrasive. But the one's piling off the charter bus, having enjoyed their first beer? Those folks haven't yet had their fandom ground down yet. It'll happen.

I can't find the actual quote, but one of the Sabres-Leafs postgames when Ryan Miller was playing he said something along the lines of "nothing better than to send those fans on their way back". It was glorious.
