Watching Tyler Myers I wonder what could have been if he had a developmental coach like Granato early in his career. Just someone that told him it was ok to embrace the skill and finesse aspects of his game.

Kase went back to Czechia in the fall and was at last I read, still having post-concussion issues. I doubt he's going to play in the NHL again. Pacioretty re-tore his Achilles so he's done for this year if not his career.

Damn, that sucks for Kase. I really liked his play and thought he could have been more than what he was. Its unfortunate his career ends this way. Thanks for the response.

No worries. He is also an example of a team doing extra work when scouting someone. Kase has bad asthma and it was a concern for a bunch of teams that scouted him. Anaheim dug in to see if it was treatable and were able to land him with a late round pick because they had more information. It's not just being able to see who has good crossovers or who makes the best read. Sometimes it takes a bit more.

Yea, that's a team that just knows how to win in the playoffs. Until that core falls off they are going to be tough every year.

The top of the Toronto roster is really good, and while they improved the bottom 2 lines and lower pairs, I still think Tampa is the better team. Hedman and Sergachev on D is a clear advantage. The Tampa bottom 6 is all power. And 88 can erase everything on the back end. I think Toronto/Tampa is going to go to game 7.

And, the loser is out of schlitz after giving up a lot of futures.

The officiating in both of these DET OTT games has been the worst I've ever seen. Just shameful
