Vinny D and Ceci were their top 3 Pk players, the other being Ekholm. The only PK worse was the Kings pk. 62% is hilariously bad.

They also don’t have Foegele and McLeod, both were also very heavily used for the forwards on the pk.

I think my fav part about Vinny D was that he was a -4 on the Pens in 10 games, but 0 for the Sharks, the f***ing Sharks, in 7 games.

Sullivan’s system was so f***ing comically bad, lol.

I think they have to reevaluate Rod. I get wanting to have stability and all that, but they've peaked under him IMO. I'm not saying they have to make a coaching change right now, but they have to explore it at least.

I agree but I really think it’s a roster construction issue. He’s brought the perfect style of play to cover it up. But you can only cover it up so long.

He is getting a lot of a lot of meh players. But then it catches up with them in the playoffs.

They had the right idea with Rantanen. Just really need another top 6 F line that is like conference finals/SCF winning quality. Their 2nd line should be their 3rd line, and their 3rd line should be their 4th line.

Yea I'm not sure you can bleed anything more from this roster. He's been given chicken salad and asked to make a gourmet meal out of it. It ain't happening.

They need to take a risk on a playmaker. I'm not joking when I say something like EK or Marner. Anything to change this up.

I'm not entirely convinced that Rod and his system/philosophy works great with talented players.

He seems good at getting a ton out of role players and being able to have his entire roster buy in to his "cogs in a wheel" approach but sometimes you need a motherf***er to go off the reservation and f*** some shit up and I don't think there is room for that in Carolina.

The problem with Carolina is they don't have a game breaker. There is no McDavid/Crosby. Hell, they don't even have a Tkachuk/Reinhart level guy that can just put the team on his back. EK65 may not be what he was, but if you let him loose, I think he could still be that game breaker. Dubas should be all over that

Players for whatever reason let the Cats get under their skin. Carolina needs to play their game and quit running around. Doesnt help they cant get a save either... Rod has had a long leash there though.
