Jets put their ballsack on the table in that one, wow. They found a way with no Scheifele, Morrissey or Hellebuyck.
You pray desperately that he just needed to get that out of his system. What do you make of Connor Hellebuyck if you're the Jets?
Rick Bowness seethingI love Cole Perfetti.
man he sucks lolThe Pens obviously lost the Luke Schenn trade.

There's no question Perfetti might have saved him from getting run out of town lolHe almost cost them the game in the first period, only to come up big after that. Furthermore, it would have been all for naught if they don't tie it with 1.6(!) seconds left.

You don't, just have to hope that the Hellebuyck in the third period/OT that seemed more normal sticks around. Unfortunately they have to worry about all their best players being injured primarily anyway hahaAnd like, how do you have confidence in him after that series? I can't imagine what Scott Arniel is thinking.
Home ice is a pretty big deal...What do you make of Connor Hellebuyck if you're the Jets?
At least ZAR looked like scoring pretty frequently. Never did, but still...I miss Brandon Tanev. He's what I was hoping Acciari would be to replace him leaving. Instead, we replaced ZAR with multiple clones of ZAR.
Stars to me have all the pressure. They’re a squad that usually goes deep in the playoffs and paid a f***ton for Rantanen. Jets meanwhile, needed to exercise their demons of finally winning a playoff series. And now the Jets get to face a Stars team now with Heiskanen and Robertson.![]()
He took over a Blues that wasn’t meant to be in the playoffs. For a coach that took over a team that needed work before and after he took over, with that roster, he can’t be mad at all. Game 7 loss for a team like that is good either way. What is it with Jim Montgomery and being up 3-1 with a chance to end a series?
Arniel keeping him in was him saying - We got this far with you, it’s your time to show everyone what you are capable of. To not pull him was that vote of confidence and Helly needed that, he didn’t face as much as Shittington but after the 3rd goal, the Jets went on a full on block everything mode and Helly just needed to lock it down when it did get to him and he did.And like, how do you have confidence in him after that series? Someone on Reddit pointed out that he's 0-2 in Game 7s when his teams have a lead in the final minute of regulation. What is it with Jim Montgomery and being up 3-1 with a chance to end a series?
0-2 isn’t that bad. That’s just two times he’s faced that situation.Someone on Reddit pointed out that he's 0-2 in Game 7s when his teams have a lead in the final minute of regulation.
No, the first one was a blown 3-1 series lead vs the Panthers.0-2 isn’t that bad. That’s just two times he’s faced that situation.
I mean it’s not like he blew a 3-1 series lead vs the Rangers.
