I will never not find it funny that goaltending will always be something blokes bitch about. It is what it is with goalies, you either get some that are somewhat good and can be great, or some that are sometimes bad and then find moments to be great, or some that are just awful and never get better. Then there’s the random that are bad and get traded and are suddenly good in the playoffs - like Sergei Boobtitsky. Bobs was absolute garbage for 2 different teams until Florida and even in Florida he was ass until the last couple of years.

Also about goalies - in a duel between Blackwood and Oettinger, no one would say Blackwood would win it, yet here we are. This is why the crying about goalies, I think a lot has to do with how f***ing bad some teams are with goalies and defense and sometimes some goalies are just ass. But to just them off not enough sample size is weird to me.

I still can’t write off Jarry until he has a playoff not under Sully and a team that actually plays a system that isn’t absolute trash. Same for Ned.

WInnipeg and Dallas will be a good series if both teams are healthy and Hellebuyck starts playing like an NHLer again. Dallas and St. Louis has the potential to be a Dallas sweep.
