It seems no matter how good the Kings are defensively in the regular season, or how good their goaltending was in the regular season, they completely forget how to play defense/make a save once the series versus the Oilers starts.

I've never seen a "defensive team" give up so many odd man rushes in a series. It's like they watched footage of the 2012 Pens/Flyers series and figured they'd try that instead of what worked for them during the year.

Oettinger and the Finnish line of the Stars gotta be pissed at their teammates for not showing up. Personally I am pissed that I had to watch the Colorado feed, these commentators make Steigy look like the late great Mike Lange.

Some great games in the first round but overall no surprises whatsoever. Sure, the President's Trophy winners still might go out but it's the Jets against the hottest teams down the stretch, wouldn't be much of a surprise.

At least that team made a Final. They actually sort of remind me of our team after the win in 09. An upper echelon team that is stuck with a goalie who has complete and total mental breakdowns in the playoffs.

We know just from our team and our last 3 starters, that once guys lose their mojo in the playoffs, it never comes back. But then you see what the Blues goalie is doing and that theory sort of goes out the window…so I dunno. Maybe if he can win this game 7 he’ll get his confidence back. But I wouldn’t leave him in if they get behind 2.

Jets have a perfectly good Colin Miller sitting right there and they won’t use him because they paid a 2nd for Schenn who is garbage. TDL depth moves often hurt more than help

Stars and Avs are both great. That's a series that was never gonna be over in like 5 because even if you "want it" you're facing an equally formidable team on the other side.
