GDT: Around the NHL - Playoff Edition

Reddit has informed me that the last time the Leafs scored a PPG in a series-clinching game was in 2018.

And it was Patrick Marleau of all players. Turns out, he had the most goals for the Leafs in that series. Sad...

That core either doesn't have the dog in 'em, or they find it once they've dug themselves too big a hole.

No, just ironic in light of the utter lack of killer instinct shown by this Kings' team.

Laughing that the Montreal goalie is stunned that 1) they would give the puck to Ovechkin 2) he would shoot it

How on earth did they make the playoffs
They, like in 2020, are realistically like the 5th worst team in the East. Columbus got injured at a critical time, Drury killed his lockerroom, Pittsburgh was Pittsburghing, Roy is a terrible coach for NYI. Montreal never should have made it.

Looks like a 2025 first round champion banner to be hoisted in DC. Time to turn on Cats/Bolts to see if anyone new starts a fresh case of CTE.
Pens haven’t won a series since 2017-2018 season… the season caps beat them to win a cup.

This isn’t the post you think it is…

Regular season he got it back. Fell apart for a few weeks here though for sure.

I just don’t think he’s fully recovered from having back surgery. I mean Tbf no truly recovers to 100% again after having that done. But he’s looked bad.

Their top 2 dmen are also going to be 35 and 36 in the few months too
