It's almost like we've watched a team for years who is coached to sit back and turtle for the entirety of the third (and sometimes the second) if they have a lead, and the result is plenty of blown leads.

I mean, freaking Dumo is playing 25 minutes a game against a very good team and is even, surely the Kings worst D-men can survive a few shifts against the woeful depth of the Oilers? And yes, McDrai can catch them on a quick change sometimes but is hanging on for dear life in every third period better?

McDavid and Draisaitl are f***ing incredible. They're like having prime Sid and Geno back in the day. Maybe even better. It's tragic to see that team mismanaged with those guys being so dominant. McDavid's 4-point game was like he was playing NHL on rookie mode.
