Nah, the Kings to me are built better for the playoffs this year. They have that edge in Foegele and Jeannot as well as young lads taking huge steps forward like Byfield and Laf as well as Spence and Clarke. Also Drew being hurt was a blessing as he’s fresh and got a crash course of intensity while getting back in game shape with the 4 nations. So he’s also primed. Their goaltending has been stable as well.

The Oilers look like the massive question mark. Also, f*** the Oilers.

I’d love to see the Wild win. Gus was a goalie I was super high on and he was a casualty of Sullivan being a whiny little bitch with Ian Cole and Reaves.

Imagine .860 and 3.50 and being the best goalie in the series.

Helleybuyck coughing up the puck for Buchnevich's third goal gave me a PTSD flashback of all the times MAF thought he was Brodeur and insisted unnecessarily on playing the puck.

Man, the East playoffs are shaping up to be total borefest. If a single series goes to six games I will be surprised, the way things are going.

Yup, it just shows that had we not blown almost all of our November games, we’d have probably squeaked in and made it.

With how bad the East is, it’s not even really out of the question that this team could make the playoffs next year if goaltending is a little better (long stretch). Again, not because of anything we could do to get us into playoff contention, but because the East is that bad.

I've been bored with pretty much all series. Although Oilers is decent because Oilers goaltending is always an open net.

Montreal pulls this one out and I think they win the series. Caps look like they’re skating in sludge for the most part. They looked like this in the 3rd period in both games one and two.

I think the younger, smaller Habs team are tiring the Caps out. They’re skating circles around them.
