But we won’t because we’re a joke franchise.
Given FSG/Kindergarten Kyle’s stupidity and our unwavering allegiance to Sullivan, I hope we end up the ‘Yotes 3.0 after Sid and Geno retire.
It’d serve FSG right as I’ve said. f***ing wankers
FSG already made it clear - they really only give a shit about Sullivan, Dubas, and Crosby.
They basically came out and said they don't care if the fans don't show up, they are not going to fire Sullivan and something else to that extent. That was the most insane thing I have ever heard from an ownership group or otherwise. They would rather prioritize a relationship they have with a coach that has nothing but failures since 2018 and is now costing them money, because.....BAWSTAHN.
Meanwhile other teams are like "oh yeah, no let's fire the coach so we can actually you know, practice accountability and strive to be better and not be complacent ( Except Seattle)"....then there's the Pens.
Even the remaining good Pens writers we did have, are like "Yeah no, Sullivan did play youth" and it's like really? So for 10 games it's ok that he used the other youth that were up in the prior 72 games like shit and only really used them in better usage when the games meant nothing when the season was basically over?
He's literally done that the last 3+ seasons. Then he reverts back to his usual dipshit ways the next season. The rope he gave Beauvillier and others, no other team even bothered to do that shit when they got those players. It's comical, the players Sullivan chose to play over youth on a team that needed that injection into the top 6, were mostly healthy scratch fodder for other teams or used in better ways than he could ever fathom.
It's why he fails as a coach for a team that is in a rebuild/retool mode, you need a coach that can think that way for more than 10 f***ing games a season. It's why other coaches succeed while wankbuckets like Sullivan and their "old school methods" fail. It's why the Capitals didn't keep Lavi, they wanted a blend and Lavi is a coach that is better for a veteran squad (like Sullivan) and why he did well in NY the year before and then tanked when the Rangers were trying to get younger as well.
It's like watching the Rangers fire Lavi for the same reasons the Pens should fire Sullivan, except the Penguins keep telling the world it's not Sullivan's fault.
