Aren't those the uniforms the evil hockey team wears in Strange Brew? Is that a quote Edge? Like the sweater, do not like the full kit. Green pants would go a long way.

A lot of these jerseys feel incomplete.

Looking at the Dallas uniform, I can't help but think "Stars" and even the star itself would benefit from even a thin outline, with the overall uniform needing a contrast on the lower half.

I wonder if guys are going to have a harder time picking it up on the ice. There's white, and then there's very white. That's a very white jersey.

Good uniform to sneak up on opponents like Finnish soldiers in the snow

This hits it on the issue here. Call it what it is. It’s a bigger ask.

Posted before but 100% agreed...I don't understand what leg the owners have to stand on - in the court of public opinion at least. What "new news" have you learned in the last 4 months that could justify a need to renegotiate? If anything vaccine approval should be a positive surprise in terms of timing.

Now of course the NHL likely just does not care about the court of public opinion and is flexing whatever leverage they have to advance their interests. And let's be real it's probably a lot of leverage, I'm sure there are a ton of players who are hurting for cash right now. But a drop dead date to execute a season has got to be getting close, even with a 2/1 start.

Reactions: East Coast Bias
I haven't been following closely but my immediate reaction is "here we go again"

The league is getting their recommendations from a bunch of bozos that evidently couldn’t foresee a situation where things are much different than they expected in July

The reverberations of this pandemic and how the league handled it is going to be felt for the next decade at this rate

Hard to say whether this is a pandemic issue or a labor issue. On the one hand, the NBA is managing to get their season up and running. On the other hand, the NBA doesn't have to deal with seven Canadian teams and a shuttered border (the Raptors will start the season in Tampa Bay).

I didn’t realize JT Miller’s opinion carried that much weight.

Really like the Habs RR, just looks so clean and the colors work well. I used to borrow that Blues jersey from my friend when we would play roller hockey so it hits me in the feels as well. But yeah, Sabres/Av's/Kings are the easy top three.

I don’t think so.

Never forget

There's a couple categories for this. The Hurricanes and Av's jerseys are both really good but they are not actually jerseys of the team that is playing. So I can't count them in my favorites among these. But there are a few that are clearly heads and shoulders above the rest.

-Minnesota's is gorgeous. They nailed it.
-The Caps "rock the red" with the 90s getups works well.
-Count me among those that loves the Dallas RR's as a contrast with their neon lights alts.
