I thought the zone entry on the winner was actually offsides. It happened a bit before the scoring play and we never saw a replay of it. Doesn’t matter to me as I’m fine with either team winning as long as the games are entertaining and I like Draisaitl for MVP but I still would like to see the zone entry from some angles or at least replayed, just to sate my curiosity

Re-watching that GWG, and that deft little pass by Perry looks better each time. 99% of guys are just pushing that along the boards for McD to pick up, and Florida probably don't get burned trying to scramble back into coverage.

McDavid's immediate reaction on the goal is to go to Perry too. Even money says he called him a beautiful son of a bitch.
