Around the NHL - Part XLV (Playoffs edition)

Brooks on the Blue Seats podcast saying unless something changes the Rangers are almost certain to lose Rempe to an offer sheet.
I don't know about "almost certain." He lays out a realistic scenario where it could happen but I would still put the odds of it happening fairly low.

Robertson’s been pretty poor. Get Bourque in the lineup. With the pace of these games, they could use the speed. I think that’s why Blackwell is on over Back tonight as well. Fresh legs and speed.

Granlund has been a great pickup. Clearly clicking with his countrymen but playing probably some of the best hockey of his career. He’s one of those guys who was hugely hyped and didn’t live up to his initial ceiling but has quietly had a very solid career.

Rantanen looks ripe to pop off again soon. Love Hintz in all 3 zones. Heiskanen is actually underrated, IMO. He doesn’t put up as many points as “the top guys” but he’s probably the best defensively of all the young D in the league. Lindell is very underrated. Same impact as Ekholm.

Duchene, Johnston and Robertson barely showing up through 15 games is hurting Dallas.

Stars can’t get to the center of the ice. Every zone entry they’re taking the easy ice and being pushed to the outside. Someone has to attack center ice and challenge the Edmonton D. They’ve been positionally sound and it won’t be easy, but continuing to take the bad angle shot from a distance isn’t getting it done.
