I was just thinking how funny it would be for Raantanen to beat Carolina in the finals. There has to be some sort of record for beating teams in the playoffs that traded you that same season.

Florida shoots the puck into the offensive zone at every opportunity. North and south. Toronto is making these east and west plays. I don't care how many goals Panarin scores in the regular season, the Rangers are never winning with him and other similar players. They don't pass the puck back to the defenseman and regroup in the neutral zone. The play a mean and tough game. They have size. The Rangers are never winning with small and finesse players who avoid contact at every turn.

Edmonton and Dallas is a tossup. Dallas needs to breakthrough one of these WCF series. Lost to Vegas. Lost to Edmonton.

I think this is actually pretty interesting. The same thing has happened here.

The team culture isn't conducive to winning, and basically every fan agrees that the roster needs some pretty drastic changes. But it seems like half of us are fixating on Drury, and half on the players themselves, even though we all want the same thing.

Neither is necessarily wrong, but it kind of seems like a fundamental difference in how people view the world. Internal vs external loci of control maybe.

Or perhaps half of us are drunk.

Oettinger will have to be the difference for Dallas. 2 veteran teams. I think it will go 7 but I am pulling for McDavid to get his.
