Around the NHL - Part XLV (Playoffs edition)

I really want Dallas to win since I follow them and it’s fun when the local team is on a deep run. I also don’t love Winnipeg, though I do feel their fans deserve some success. Hard to not want Scheifele to get the win for the human story though.
Beat Winnipeg and the people there can go back to their normal routines and prep for winter that's coming in a couple of months

The yeehaw state just needs a Cup because 1999 was a long time ago and the WCF doesn’t cut it in a city of mostly transplanted, oat milk & solar powered California bros in Teslas and G Wagons. They’re still telling every first date they go on about how “cooked the Mavs are” for trading Luka. Need hockey on the trending “for you” page.

When people go to Dallas (I have never been there), I'm guessing the place they want to see the most is Dealey Plaza where JFK was assassinated in 1963.

The Luka trade was one of the dumbest trades in North American sports history, outside of pretty much every trade Phil Esposito made as the Rangers GM in the late 1980s. Lol

Cool that Cally is getting another call tonight, If he replaced Joe would be awesome. I need something to keep me into this team, which has made me doubt the organization.

There are no more adults and culturally/historically aware humans being made. All they want to see is the most popular rooftop with some “hot southern girls” and the city is a disgraceful mess of trust fund babies charading as celebrities. I live an hour north where we buy our eggs and meat and produce from local farmers and it’s worlds different.

LOL I'm of the an older generation than the current group, Generation (whatever; I'm too old to keep track of that crap! LOL)

Maybe the older people want to go to Dealey, but I'm guessing the younger crowd just wants to "party" with the hot southern girls.

I want a disco ball helmet.
