I can deal with Vegas. They remind me of the Patriots where they just find exploits in the rules and then abuse the shit out of them until something is changed.

The NHL needs Toronto, Edmonton, or Dallas to win the Cup to save the league from itself. Honestly, Florida could go back to back, and then the second they go back to mediocre, the building will be empty again. Carolina the same.

There was basically no-one, here, in the media, or around the league, who thought Vegas would be competitive off the bat, or that they did a good job in the expansion draft

So I live in the DC area. It’s mostly hell. Last season was fun obviously.

My hockey team here is half Caps fans, half Pens fans. It’s hell. But, thanks to @Machinehead and #analytics, I’ve been looking like Nostradamus.

Correctly called the Caps in five, losing game three in the first tying.

Predicted Caps in 5, maaaasaybe 6, in this series with them losing both games in Carolina.

It’s great when the PDO bender predictably ends and then a bunch of cocky fans can’t understand what’s happening.
