Around the NHL - Part XLV (Playoffs edition)

Mika just sold his 4000-sf townhouse. Rod Brindamour prefers to live in a 800-sf condo apartment, part of his disciplined, straight-edge, hockey-only life during the season. He just needs a bed, a bathroom, a kitchen to make protein smoothies and to warehouse his Factor delivery meal kits, and room for his Bowflex adjustable dumbbells.

Gabe has a lot of work to do as well based on what I saw. Not surprising with non elite prospects.
Agree completely, but they were saying what a huge bolt of lightning he would bring for them when he was injected into their lineup and was already NHL ready cause he can throw hits.

Have to give Dallas management a lot of credit. A lot of people were burying Rantanen a few months ago. Saying Colorado won the deal by far. Many posters on HF said they wanted nothing to do with the guy and were against trading for him.
I think most of us were against giving him a huge 8 year deal, not that we didn't like his game. Stockholm syndrome from Panarin.

I may have been one of those folks who said that. To be fair I think it was a legit concern....that Rantanen quickly dispelled. We'll see if it holds long term.
I agree. I don't think I said anything but I wasn't sure what would be after Carolina. Dallas took the chance.
