Around the NHL - Part XLV (Playoffs edition)

Back in their early primes, before either had their first Cup, people often talked about how one player couldn’t win a Cup with reference to Sid and Ovie. I have never, in my life, in any sport, seen as much of a 2 man show as McDrai. The Oilers are actual, legitimate ass aside from the #1 and 2/4 player in the world. We can argue McD and Makar may be a better combo, or whatever, but realistically… Edmonton is actually f***ing is atrocious outside of 2 of the top 4/5 talents in the world.

I'm gunna start watching these games on mute if ESPN is going to keep playing that God awful Tommy Trumpet techno remix at each commercial break.

Dear god Skinner is shaky.

Edit: Pickard. I’m watching on mute. Resting your playoff hopes on Pickard… while we pay Igor 11.5M. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

Must be nice to get elite talent with top three picks at least. We don't win and we don't even get that much.

Creamy, dreamy Fage… as delicious as it sounds.

(I really hope we’re all seeing the same commercials).

If I were Connor McDavid, every time ANY opponent had the puck across my blueline, my b-hole would be clenched so hard. Holy horrible goalies.

Dallas and the Finnish connection.

Granlund, Hintz, Rantanen on the last goal. Lindell, Heiskanen. In recent years Kiviranta and Haakanpa. Back in the day Lehtinen and Lehkonen. Weird thing, Dallas and Finns.
