1. Hellebuyck is why you don’t pay goalies… the Shesterkin contract will never not suck.

2. Hellebuyck is why Henrik is essentially the GOAT of the modern era. Or at least the post Hasek era. He was the only goalie who was like actual clockwork reliably in the playoffs. We were spoiled.

The Fowler trade was a sneaky good one. Ottawa was always going to get embarrassed in the first round. It was surprising they made it and a nice step for them but they’re still a weak and inexperienced team. Toronto is going to ride high off getting a series victory and getting shredded in the second round. Montreal is in the same boat as Ottawa. Washington’s been sharp but I wouldn’t start getting on their wagon until we see how they perform against a real playoff team. I hope Vegas gets washed. Los Angeles looks like a wagon right now but Edmonton is pretty pathetic without Ekholm or a goalie worthy of starting minutes. Dallas and Colorado is the most competitive series, IMO. Should be the WCF and instead is wasted in the first round.

Rangers don’t believe young players can play top line minutes on playoff teams. Rangers don’t know how to be patient and they don’t know how to evaluate talent at any level of hockey.

When was the last video interview of Drury, hiring Laviolette? This guy hides more than a person running from the cops. He does not face the media much. No wonder why Panarin can get away with it just as much as him. NO ACCOUNTABILITY.
