Around the NHL - Part XLV (Playoffs edition)

Gotta say - the pace and intensity that the Sens play with is what I wish the Rangers could muster someday.

And FWIW I give Travis Green zero credit for it - it’s all locker room imho.

man, i was talking to @EdJovanovski about the senators and i mentioned the 2012 series and i recalled the game 7 scorers being G and Staal and I found the full game on YouTube and watching the final moments and seeing Hank, he's still such a pillar of security. Like, seeing Hank winning a game 7, it just felt so obvious, like not just his game 7 record but shesty doesn't have that pimp hand presence Hank had.

If Vegas loses in the first round, who becomes the fall guy? Cassidy? If the Rangers go with the recycled coach, Cassidy would be a good choice for the Rangers. Took Boston to a Cup final in 2019. Vegas won the Cup in 2023. Vegas plays a zone which is better than man to man.

Bill Foley won't be happy losing in the first round.

He's a miserable asshole that Boston hated so much they booted despite being successful.

Perfect.
