Kind of a joke if we get the Caps again but I won't complain.
They really should change the standings format though. The division winners shouldn't automatically get #1,#2 & #3. It should guarantee you a playoff spot but they should still seed the teams based off points then at the end of the season imo.

I've been saying this for years. It makes no sense that you get a top 3 seed regardless of where you stack up compared to the conference.

If Brassard can be a solid #2C and Moore turns into top-4 D-man I think we made out like bandits. Then there's Dorsett as well.

If that happens the Sharks should just mail it in tonight. They match up terribly vs the Blues, never seem to beat them.

Not sure how I feel about seeing the Caps again. I was hoping after last year that would be it for awhile. The Rangers always make any Cap playoff goalie look like Patrick Roy.

Dale Hunter's Caps team played a much more playoff tough style, defensive, aggressive, mirrored the Rangers in their shot blocking. I wonder if this year's series will be similar. Probably another 7 games.
