I would give up parts of my body to see the Pens lose in the first round.

My God, the unbelievable drooling over that team makes me physically ill.

I can't stand how their team is beyond ridicule.

It's like Steigerwald rubbed off on some people: Neal, Malkin, Crosby pull off some ****, it's them playing with passion and intensity; other team returns the favor, "Oh, God! That's bush league! That team plays dirty."

They are the most hypocritical team in the league for sure.

It is the idea that they are somehow unbeatable.

People need to stop handing them the cup before the playoffs even start. I don't want to face them, but that's only because the Rangers haven't matched up well against them. They can still be beaten.

From reading the pens board, they do not want any part of the rangers in round 1.

If you are going to play the Penguins, I would want them in the 1st round.

Big question marks of the health of Crosby, Neal, Malkin, Martin, etc. If anything, Pittsburgh looks poised to be in a better position manpower wise in the 2nd round.

Even if all of the above play in the First Round, they are no where near 100%.

They look so good going into the playoffs in part due to the fact that this year's team actually made meaningful additions before the trade deadline. In other years they added Jordan Leopold or a rundown Alexei Kovalev. This year, they brought in Iginla, Morrow, Jokinen and Murray. This looks like the best Penguins team on paper that they've had in years.

But they still need to prove it over 2 months of grueling playoff hockey. They haven't won anything yet.

Good, Isles can knock them off for us then.

If we are going to win the stanley cup its probably gonna require us beating good teams, Who cares when it happens? Does it make you feel better if have an easier matchup in round 1 and then get to play them in round 2? Doesnt it make a difference??

It does make a difference. Going further means more playoff experience for everyone on the team.

Well in a perfect world you would save the hardest opponent (the one you have the lowest chance of beating) for last. If we're ultimately destined to lose to someone I'd rather lose to them later than soon.

All indications are the Dallas Stars are about to make a GM change. Detroit's Jim Nill expected to be named GM of Stars as early as Mon.

This is great news for Stars fans.
