I am intrigued by what they do with the above. Looks bad, should probably be a suspendable play, but what rule are you suspending him against? As far as i know there's no real 'rules' in a fight, so can you be too rough?

In the old days you had all sorts of stuff including hair pulling but the league put an end to that stuff for the most part.

Tom Wilson is such a p***y. Going after Stankoven who is like 5'8 in a scrum on the PP like he went after Panarin back in the day. But he'll fake challenge Rempe when his team is down 3-0 in the series and losing game 4.

Whats the McCalrath trade tree? Maybe we should have kept him.

In 2016, Rangers traded McIlrath to FLA for Steve Kampfer and a conditional 7th round pick in 2018. No one of note was really drafted in that 7th round unless you really stan for Riley Smith.

In 2018, Rangers trade Kampfer, a 2019 4th round pick, and a conditional 7th round pick to BOS for Adam McQuaid. That 4th rounder eventually went to Carolina who drafted a Cade Webber.

McQuaid was traded in 2019 to CBJ for Julius Bergman, and a 4th and 7th rounder. That 4th rounder turned into Hunter Skinner and the 7th turned into Eric Ciccolini. Bergman never played in an NHL game and signed in Sweden after 10 games with Hartford.

When you've done something to an opponent to cause the back of the head to hit the ice with force you can potentially kill that person or cause grievous harm that will last a lifetime. The one NHL player to die Bill Masterton died pretty much that way. Chatfield should be suspended AFAIC......and if you're going to give Rempe 8 games for that hit on Heiskanen this is a lot worse than that.

Also if I'm McMichael I'm going at that guy with stick and fist next time we play. I'd be looking to hurt him for real.

What’s more “nasty” is how the Bruins have completely checked out on any level of compete.

Tonight will be 7 losses in a row, 1-9-1 in last 11 games, and a lock on last place in the conference. Did not see that coming, Marchand or not.
