Hughes is going to request a trade sooner than later. Could honestly still see Petey moved before Friday. An organization with better infrastructure would help him a lot. That being said, I hope he enjoys Buffalo.

No clue, but he's a talented player and I agree something feels off.

I lived in Vancouver for a stretch. The folks there know the game and are passionate. There's definitely pressure there from fans and media, much more so than playing hockey in NY, imo.

LaChance seems like a pretty good return for retention. Usually, it’s just a mid to late round pick. Hopefully Drury can pull off a similar deal.
