Positive thing about the Rangers is that they've given up next to nothing offensively the last 2 games to guys who weren't Pastrnak and Eichel.
Those teams don't have much beyond Pasta and Eichel. The Bruins are hanging on by a thread. Marchand looks cooked. The Bruins have not signed him to an extension. Vegas isn't the same team which won the Cup. Stone was always slow and he looks slower. The Rangers were somehow trailing to both teams going into the third period. Eichel failed to clear the puck on the PK. Marchand took a stupid penalty. The Boston game was an awful game. Both teams looked like garbage.

It's not their fault that when you tried booking a certain hotel on Orbitz that you discovered it wasn't real.
People mistakenly think that the Iran hostage crisis and the OPEC gas crisis were the defining failures of the Carter administration when in fact it was that no one from the federal government stepped in and put a stop to The Eagles.

Man, the things I learn on this site. I thought I knew my history.

Bro, it's ok to give the Rangers credit for something. You're like batman every time someone says something positive about the Rangers, it's a bat signal. Why even root for the team if you can't give them credit for being good in a couple of games? Are you that f***ing miserable?

I woman I went to undergrad with dated Randy Mantooth for a time. Really nice guy - had some VERY interesting things to say about that show. Never mind - I was thinking about "Emergency" which was on after CHiPS
Do tell.....Emergency was my favorite show back then...

I hate you.
That's taking it to the limit.....

From what he said, at the time the show was made, ambulance drivers were basically glorified cabbies. They could go to the scene of an accident, put you in the ambulance and take you to the ER. THAT'S IT. They couldn't set a broken limb; they couldn't intubate you - legally they weren't allowed to give you an aspirin.

The US government was pushing hard for a nationalized, standardized EMT program which the AMA was STAUNCHLY opposed to, basically taking the stance that only doctors should be allowed to touch patients.

"Emergency" was government propaganda written by government employees - NOT Hollywood screenwriters. The aim of the show was to get the US public behind the idea of an EMT training program that would allow "ambulance drivers" to perform life saving procedures en route to the hospital.

I was a huge fan. I had a surgery when I was about 5 to remove a lump on my wrist that I was born with & this was my reward when I got out of the hospital...

Wish I still had it. LOL.

Ratanen was shocked by the trade. He said he planned on staying in Colorado. Would the NHL CBA allow the Canes to trade him back?

Only if there is some cap manipulation? I don't know if there is a trade back window. Sammy Blais got traded back. Players get traded back all the time.
I know in some sports there are some rules against trading back to a previous team for a period of time but I do not remember exact details. If they had cap room the Canes could send Rat right back for say 2 first round picks? Wonder if guys on the Avs that are friends are telling Rat just sign with us again after the season.

Pretty sure the NHL rule about trading back to the same team only applies if they're money retained.
