Meh.

So who here doesn’t know deep in their heart of hearts that our pick is going to end up being the reason the Penguins draft McKenna? It’s been twenty years since the Sid draft. The Penguins draft the next generational C every twenty years.
lol because of this exact scenario I am now rooting for the Rangers to make the playoffs by any means necessary even if it’s a first round sweep

He should.

In the summer

Great jobs by Grier (getting a 2nd 1st rounder from the Karlsson trade)

Granlund has been traded twice at the TDL, with *insert fart sound* results

2018-19 Minnesota: 0.78 pts/game
2018-19 Nashville: 0.31 pts/game

2022-23 Nashville: 0.62 pts/game
2022-23 Pittsburgh: 0.24 pts/game

Dallas is destined for a round 2 exit once again

classic mediocre player boosting his numbers by being a higher option on a bad team.

If we had a 1st rounder would you have traded it?
I honestly didn't even consider it when I posted this. I was basically using it as an FYI for the guys here who had Petterson on their radars as a LD option.

Now that you're asking however, I don't think this team should be trading draft picks for rentals for this season or a potential run that will likely end with a 1st round exit, if we even get in.

Folks can say what they want but if youre actually watching hockey, tony deangelo has been very very good for the isles. Forget the goal tonight, in his own end he was the best isles dman
