Damn… I don’t make much of small sample sized and obviously usage and such matter - and I’ll happily admit I haven’t been watching Kraken games - but 12 points in 14 games but only averaging 16:30, so still not playing tons of minutes. Kakko is going to end up being the case study. How do we get a kid like that, completely fail to develop him yet give him enough development for him to take off instantaneously when he leaves? Because if he keeps up a .8+ pace we will be asking ourselves about it forever and it’s pretty wild to think that we genuinely just can’t empower talented young players to play as if they have talent (it also brings up a question about why anyone would devote time to watching this team, should this be true). I mean, shit, at this point now I’m wondering if Laf is a 90 point player elsewhere. Again, small sample but… not looking like a great reflection on our organization.
