That's why I was rooting for the Pens vs the Pliers. 19 points for them coming up and we're playing in Montreal without Nash, Asham and others. Happy now ?

Well, Asham alone isn't a problem. Added in the with the multitude of other injuries and it starts to look real bad.
Not gonna lie, I like Asham. Most cried when he was signed (as we always do) but hes a great teammate who sticks up for his guys, hasnt been a ****** thus far and actually has some skill to him.

I was all for the signing and then admittedly *****ed about him during the Asham vs. Boyle debates, but I'm actually very happy with his play when paired with Halpern and Powe. They make an excellent 4th line.

What the **** am I listening to on NHL Network? No arena noise. It's completely mute with the exception of the commentators.

I have my eyes on 1st in the division. The Pens are a bigger threat there. Plus we can beat the Flyers ourselves but if we one game against the Pens I'll be shocked. We need the Pens to take as many losses as possible. Oh yeah the Flyers played a lot more games than the Rangers.
After watching the last few Rangers lock-down, tight defense, waiting for mistakes games it's sure refreshing to watch the Oilers-Coyotes game now. Tortorella would hate it but it's fun! Would be like 5-5 now halfway if not for the two good goalies Smith and Khabibulin.

This is a bad hockey team.
The rangers brass really dropped the ball on Parenteau. He's more skilled and produces more than most of our forwards.

Wrong !! Torts publicly declared him too slow for his system , said he didn't skate well enough to be an effective fore checker in his " system" sic . He's flourished offensively playing as an equally edept playmaker and scorer . Used to think it was just JT but he's doing very well in Colorado as well
