Andy Greene is by far my favorite Devil. I have no rhyme or reason why, he just is.

He is playing the best hockey of his career now. Definitely the Devils #1 guy on the back end.

I will say that the 3rd period was hard to watch. The refs need to put their whistles away in such a big game. Never mind one that's tied heading into the 3rd.

I didn't catch too much of the 3rd. Saw Butler get rocked by that Kovy shot. That's one of my biggest fears in life.

Poni scores for the Jets to give them the 1-0 lead................ Hainsey on the Rangers PP may help, I think he's waaaaaaaaaaay overpaid but for a 3rd rounder and say Eminger I likely give him a shot

As much as I hate the Devils, I hate the Penguins much more. Plus, the Pens are a bigger threat for the division still IMO. Plus, I have way more confidence in beating the Devils, so we need someone else to beat the Pens. Good win for us, IMO.

I hate the Devils, Islanders and Flyers like any healthy division rivalry. The difference though, is that I respect them. The Penguins? Absolutely not. I hate that team from top to bottom. Mario to the backup massage therapist.

I don't even hate the Pens. I simply don't respect them. They don't even feel like a division rival.

I'm watching the NHL Network and the guy asked Kronwall what the key for the success on the powerplay was. He said "we talked about shooting more". I have literally never heard anyone in the NHL answer that question any other way, the other one is "we talked about simplifying it". That means the same thing though. Is there no other way to score on the PP, or is that just the cliche that coaches and players say not to give too much insight on what they actually do?

Datsyuk is a beast

Schooled those youngsters in the faceoff dot all day long. Zetterberg too.

Ottawa shutout by the Jets, 1-0, Montoya lookin great one game, who knows the next;)

I think teams are onto Ottawa now that Spezza's out. They keep feeding their defense, which makes sense since thats their strength now, but its not gonna take them far, the forwards have to come through. I was afraid of that team in the East this year, now not as much unless they make some moves.

The Jets on the other hand, building an impressive defense. Hainsey has been good in a defensive role. Stuart was a beast today. Redmond is a nice lookin RHD. Postma continues his bombs from the point. That team is not too far off.

Was the Crosby (uncalled) elbow on Gionta discussed in the last thread?

For someone who was so outspoken about hits to the head after his concussion... well, I'll let your minds fill in the blanks.

Crosby and Malkin may both take out AK47s and massacre the other team in the next game and won't get a penalty.
