Did you guys hear that? That was the sound of Tampa's window slamming shut.
I'd take their timeline in a heartbeat.

I'd also expect Tampa to be good again in 2-3 years. They are an amazing developmental program and have top pieces still in place.

I'm happy with another NYI win. There are plenty of ways for this Rangers team to not show up, too much rest, rust, whatever is one of many. I'd take the tangible rest time and attrition on the Canes. I don't want it to go to 7 and let the Islanders get too close but I mean, I guess if it has to be then it has to be. Take it to 7 and lots of injuries.
