I never understood the mentality of "I hope [insert team that beat NYR] wins so we can say we lost to the Cup champions." Like..no? I want the team that beat NYR to lose 10 times out of 10, in the worst possible fashion. It's more logical for me to cope by saying "We wouldn't have beat who ended up winning the Cup if they beat the team that beat NYR."

Also, we wouldn't have stood a chance against Edmonton even if we made it past Florida.
