Around the NHL - Part XLII - (2023-24 Season edition)

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

These results today are going to move our playoff odds from 25% back up to around 50% again. I don’t know if any team has ever been gifted a playoff spot as much as the hockey gods are trying to gift one to this year’s Rangers. Might make it in with like 89 points at this rate.

Avs legends Charlie Coyle and Brock Nelson win it for them in the shootout over Montreal. They should’ve had it in regulation, were up 4-1 in the middle of the 3rd.

Lindgren with another goal for Colorado. Can't believe Drury traded him for scraps

IDK looks like the same player to me.

WC playoff teams are salivating at the prospect of seeing that in top 4 minutes.

Ryan Lindgren IS scraps.

Kakko had 13 points in his first 14 games with Seattle. When his line mates stopped scoring at unsustainable rates, he dropped to 12 points in 24 games.

I think you're kidding yourself if you think he's suddenly a different player than he was before. His underlying numbers aren't really any different than they were before, expect he was probably unlucky this season with us and that's reverted to the mean with Seattle.
