Chytil could easily play in the Czech league once his NHL contract expires and be much safer. Brno, less than an hour from where Fil was born, has a top 5 team.
I get that there is a lot less money to be made, but if he took the next season and a half on LTIR and dominated the Czech league he could still play against the best in International competition. If he is sticking it out due to love of the game, that could be a good compromise solution for him.

I 100% agree. In my time if you were going to say stupid bigotry at least you had to have some balls to say it to someone's face. Now cowards hide behind their keyboards and spout hatred without fear of being called on it. In fact some of the worlds biggest jerks now make their living by doing it via clicks.

If he's at the point where he shouldn't play hockey anymore, he's not playing at any level. Have you read some of the stories about players who have retired because of concussions? Their brain is permanently damaged beyond repair. A guy like Donskoi, who Lindgren rocked at MSG? He can't go on a boat for an example, he starts getting severe headaches, he starts feeling sick, he loses his vision. When he drives or rides a car, he has to focus on just the road. Otherwise he has severe migraine like symptoms, he will even go partially blind. This is like 2 years after he retired, he still can't live a 100% normal life and probably never will.
Concussions are nothing to f*** around with. If there is any indication that Chytil would be entering this stratosphere, I hope he understands it and makes the right decision for himself and his loved ones.

Sadly this is why I was all for trading Chytil. Sucks for him, he's a good player who keeps getting concussions. Hopefully this isn't a bad one.

Makar should win the Norris literally every year, LOL. He's way over a PPG as a f***ing D-man for his career.

He has a shot at 30 goals this season.
I said it last week and got bashed for it but the 4 Nations Tourny really showed there is a player level of skill that we do not have. People will say Bread, Fox, JT, Lavi, etc. All good players but none are at that next level of skill of a Makar, Nate, McDavid, Leo, etc. We really need to figure out a plan to get McDavid without Canada hating us
At this point they're all bad.
He's messing with his future now, needs to stop .

He was such a promising prospect during a very dark period when we had none. Threw massive hits! I recall being very pissed when he got traded for stupid Mike Dunham. RIP

I understand what you mean but Barkov, Matt Kachook, and Eichel are included in the elite level that I was speaking about. They are guys that played top 6 in the 4 nations tourney.
