that's not about this group, that's just the rangers. not once in my lifetime has any ranger team not made things as challenging as possible for themselves. i'm pretty sure the monstars steal their talent if they have a chance to make things easier

For Tuesday to matter, so many things has to break right. And for Wednesday to matter, everything has to be bad for Islanders and great for penguins, and one of caps or wings.

I don't understand why so many hockey fans think that what other leagues do is what will improve the league. The playoffs being expanded is not to improve the product it's to make money. That shouldn't concern fans. The NFL btw, expanded their playoff from 12 to 14 which is still less than 16. And it's the most successful league in North America.

Carolina is very good, they smother, forecheck, attack, good D, etc. Easily can win in 4 or 5.

But...f em, isles in 6

I didn't even notice until now but Carolina's PP has been humming all season??

It's 2nd (we're 3rd) and Isles have the worst PK in the league at like 72%.

Unless Carolina gets absolutely all-time goalied I do not see how the Islanders have a chicken dick's chance when Canes are the best 5 on 5 team & have a deadly PP. Honestly looks like a gentleman's sweep but we'll see.
